Fundamentals of Interpreting
This is a highly interactive 40-hour course led by CEO Iliana Sutton. The Interpreters are challenged by role-playing Modes of Interpreting and demonstrating an understanding of the International Medical Interpreter Association Standards and Ethics. Interpreters will gain confidence, knowledge, and experience in maintaining compliance during encounters. The course follows the National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters Training Handbook. The system is followed by a terminology course taught by Ph.D., RN, and Certified Medical Interpreter Lolly Tindol.
Basic Medical Terminology
Aha! offers a course to teach you the foundations of Interpreting Skills to work as an Interpreter in the medical field. You will learn medical terms that are used during a bare medical encounter.
Note: The Course is in Spanish, English, and Marshallese and is hosted online.
This Course FOLLOWS training requirements by the National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters, International Medical Interpreters Association, and Joint Commission.

Medical Specialties Terminology
We offer a course in Specialties Medical Terminology. The course is a total of 40 hours provided online. This course will teach you Medical Specialties terms used daily, preparing you for the National Certification test. They are offered in Spanish, English, and Marshallese. You will receive a Certificate of Completion for this course. The course follows the National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters Handbook (NBCMI), International Medical Interpreters Association (IMIA), and Joint Commission Standards.
